We teamed up with Lottie to host How to: In HealthTech, an evening for product people working in HealthTech or looking to break into it. Every seat was full, and a few people kindly stood at the back.

The evening was built for Product Managers and product leaders who want to level up their career, move into leadership or grow their team. Our panel of six female product leaders shared their journeys, the challenges they've faced and what they've learned along the way.

Joining us on the panel were Tulsi Patel from Hertility Health, Nicole Kayode from One Advanced, Sarbani Saha from Bupa, Louise Mewett from Lottie, Snigdha Jain from Skin Analytics and Sasha Lipscombe from eMed Healthcare.

Here's what we covered.

1. Getting it right as a product person in HealthTech

HealthTech isn't like other product spaces. You're building for patients and clinicians, often with regulation, clinical safety and data privacy shaping every decision. Moving fast still matters, but getting it wrong has a different kind of cost.

2. Stepping into leadership

Many people in the room were thinking about their next step, from senior Product Manager to Head of Product or beyond. The panel shared how they made that move and what they wish they'd known sooner.

3. Building great teams

For those already leading, the conversation turned to building teams. HealthTech teams often need a mix of product, design, engineering and clinical expertise, and getting that balance right shapes the products they build.
